Easy to read, enjoyable,cliché and romantic. Indeed a nice book to end the summer with! There's not so much to say about this book, other than that it's very sweet and has a nice language. It's a very typical YA lovestory, and I enjoy that kind of books a lot actually.

YES YES YES, FINALLY!!!!!!! 
I got my action, romance, grief, I got everything that I waited for! Silver Shadows was kick-ass, seriously, some true spirit-kick-ass.

Can we talk about Sydney for a bit? Just a second. Thank you. Girl-power alll the way!!!
She's turning into this strong proganist we knew she always was, and she's using her magic like it's been her true passion her whole life and not something she learned to accept a couple of months ago . It's fantastic to see her embrace her true self without even questioning it. She is so strong trough it all, and it makes me so proud. 

Seeing what the Alchemist are capable of gives me true chills. THEY are the cruel people! They are not much better than the Strigoi's. As we know they took Sydney to re-education. 
That's just been a word to us for so long. We've heard people talk about it, but we've never actually been there, until now. And all our fears of what might be inside there comes alive. It's horrible in a manipulative way. But Sydney is so s t r o n g. She really outdid her in this book. I did however question how the events were going to affect her relationship with Adrian...


And speaking of... Gosh I love him. I don't know how I could say anthing about him without it all being biased. He's one of my favorite characters. He and Magnus Bane might be tied for first place. 

Overall I was very, very VERY pleased with the outcome of this book. The last one was a true dissapointment but not this one. Not at all. I'm hoping to see more of the other characters from Vampire Academy in the last book!

The Distance Between Us REVIEW

And much to her dismay, she's beginning to enjoy his company.

She knows her mom can’t find out—she wouldn’t approve. She’d much rather Caymen hang out with the local rocker who hasn’t been raised by money. But just when Xander’s attention and loyalty are about to convince Caymen that being rich isn’t a character flaw, she finds out that money is a much bigger part of their relationship than she’d ever realized. And that Xander’s not the only one she should’ve been worried about.

I dislike the poor vs rich talk that's going on in Caymen's head. She's very judgmental and I think it has a lot to do with her father. She believes that money changes people, and the richer someone is - the worse. Her mother is even worse. Her beliefs about rich people is so strong that she has even made her daughter believe them. And Caymen just believes it. She's never been friends with someone from the "other side of the road". As I said before, judgmental. And It's quite paradox actually, because she believes that rich people are the snobs and that they are the people who won't be friends with anyone, and she think they are the judgmental people, when in reality she is no better. I don't exactly know why an author would do something like that. It's an embarrassing mistake. 

And then we have the male lead character - Xander. 
Rich in all ways, but he doesn't fit in with Caymen's description of rich. Yes, that DOES make her all kinds of nervous. 

He is nice, considerate and very caring. He has a big heart and I do see why anyone would fall for him. He cares about Caymen a lot. But because of her (STUPID) beliefs she just cannot accept it. She tries to make up all kinds of reasons for him to be playing her. Every slightest single little mistake he does she draw parallels with him being "beyond rich" and that's why he make so unforgetableeee mistakes. Le sigh.

Something I still don't understand is why they even like each other. Or more like, why HE likes her. He is too good for her. 

The story ended very abrupt, like the author just couldn't wait to get it finished. I would have enjoyed another chapter. Xander made The Distance Between Us enjoyable.

The Maze Runner (The Maze Runner) REVIEW

What a fine piece of adventure. The story started of quite direct, but with all the made-up words it was a bit hard keeping up. But the author did a great job explaining the words, and I eventually learned them all. The story got me hooked at page 32 (I wrote it down), and that's very early in. I couldn't put the book down, It was so fast-paced. 
Every chapter is very intense and eventful. The Maze Runner got a high suspense-level. It's never quite boring or even just okay. Every chapter is fantastic. 

My heart-rate always went up to 180, and that had me very exhausted. I've never been THIS exhausted by a book. You never know what might happen, and that sets you on edge. 
TMR is not only filled with suspense and events, but it's also darn hilarious. It's quite shocking, that a story about teenagers who are literally fighting everyday to survive can be hilarious. 

What shocked me the most though was the ending. I didn't expect a sad ending but that's what I got... 
But the sadness was forgotten from the time I read that WTF epilogue. It made no sense at all. I'm scared to even think about what it could have meant......

Allt de vet är att dörrarna till en enorm labyrint som omger dem öppnas varje morgon, och varje kväll stängs de. Labyrinten myllrar av dödliga faror, och väggarna i den flyttas dessutom varje natt.
På något sätt måste de försöka hitta ut, men hur?

Då händer något oväntat - Teresa skickas dit. Hon är den första tjejen någonsin som kommit. Det verkar som om hon och Thomas känner varandra sedan tidigare. Vad betyder det? Kan hon vara till hjälp när de ska försöka ta sig därifrån levande? Och vem vet vilka svar som väntar där ute ? 

Vilken fin äventyrsresa. Historien började ganska direkt, men med alla påhittade ord var det lite svårt att hålla reda på vad som hände, men författaren gjorde ett bra jobb med förklaringen av dessa ord, och jag lärde mig så småningom dem alla. Jag var fast vid The Maze Runner vid sida 32 (jag skrev ner det), och det är mycket tidigt. Jag kunde inte lägga ner boken, en riktig bladvändare!

Varje kapitel är mycket intensiv och händelserik. TMR har en hög spänning-nivå. Det är aldrig riktigt tråkigt eller bara okej. Varje kapitel är fantastiskt.

Mitt hjärta gick på 180 under hela läsningen, och det gjorde mig väldigt utmattad. Jag har aldrig varit så utmattad av en bok. Man vet aldrig vad som kan hända, och det är nästan obehagligt, på ett väldigt förunderligt sätt. 
TMR är inte bara fylld med spänning och händelser, men det är också jäkligt humoristisk. Det är ganska chockerande, att en berättelse om tonåringar som bokstavligen kämpar varje dag för att överleva kan vara rolig. 

Vad chockade mig mest var dock slutet. Jag förväntade mig inte ett sorgligt slut, men det är vad jag fick ...
Men sorgen glömdes från det att jag läste WTF epilogen. Den var helt oförståerlig. Vad kommer egentligen hända nu? Det får vi väl reda på i nästa bok....

This book shows you that you can't do anything unless a guy gives it to you, as a girl you are just mentally unstable, nope, never trust your mind to take a single good decision and everything that happens to you in life is just so weird and you deserve none of it. Yep.

I hate it when authors write boring and weak characters. She had a crappy home life. I'd rather see her grow strong and conquer it than hide behind a guy.

Most of the things that happened in this book had be on the verge of turning all Teen Wolf mad, but I'm no wolf so I never turned.

One of the weirdest books I've ever read in my entire life.
And I'm old.

or at least I am according to my 5 year old cousin.


I've never met a more annoying and stuck up character than Willhem. He doesn't seem to care whether or not he hurts Allyson aka Lulu and is just so insensitive. She doesn't deserve what he did to her. At all.

Allyson is as nice as a person can get. Very lovely. I love her journey, it's very intresting to follow her trough this and see her develop as a character. It's a very important book about finding yourself, and Forman really emphasis the fact that we are always lost. We just handle it in different ways. Where some see unknown streets others see a new adventure.

I went in to this book expecting a nice light summer read, but that was not what I ended up with. This book got me thinking a lot about depression, which wasn't exactly he subject I wanted to think about on my vacation in Crete. But I don't regret reading the book.

This book makes me want to discover Paris all over again. And just discover the world with different eyes.


You should not read this book if you are looking for a funny contemporary book. This is not it.

Seriously. Super mega cute.

I can't help but falling in love with Chad. He is one hawt player.
Everything about this book screams romance and fun.

I love it when Armentrout writes from a guys POW, because their minds are just more dirty and more entertaining to be in.

Not even ashamed to admit that I like it. Nope.

I didn't to like it as much as I did, and that ending was just so freaking beatiful. a solid 4 star indeed.

What a confusing book. 
Without given any details about he relationship with Julian, it all just seemed a bit tacky, and the way she kind of just changed her mind about how she saw things with the angels after being raised with strict rules was quite unbelivable. You don't just change our mind about something you've lived by your life without any second thoughts.

Sydney Sage from Bloodlines is a great example of that. She was changed in a realistic way. 

SO the story. 

Very nice, entertaning and sassy, just like all of her books. I love the easy way her books are written in, even though it's paranormal fantasy she still finds a way to make it a fun summer-read book. 

Something alllllll her characters have in common though in all of her books is that they all use the same slang words. 

No.


Give us something unique with each character, it's like writing about the same character with a different name in a different setting. It just won't hold.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE OMG I'M IN LOVE WITH THE LOVE! Uuugh, just thining back at this book gives me butterflies and heartache. This book was perfection in it's most eternal form - youth. I cannot get over how beautiful this is. I've only been in love once before. Once. But what I felt for this book....What I FEEL. That's true love. I'm in love. I'm so deeply in love. Our time on this planet is counted, We're all going to die eventually and I will gladly spend all my days loving this book, that's how adorkable this book by Jenny Han is. It's a true contemporary masterpiece filled with so much love and joy, I haven't been this happy in a loong time. The characters are so freking loveable, even the ones you dislike, and the narrator is such a breezy, cute and big-hearted person, and she is so hilarious! I laughed trough the whole book, and she just makes my stone-heart all warm and fuzzy with her innocence. It's so freaking nice reading about a normal teenager once in a while, I mean, always reading about brave characters like Tessa, Katniss, Tris and Anabeth can make you feel a bit useless hehe.... All I can say is that this is definitely one of the best (if not the best) contemporary books I've ever read in my whole 18 year old long life. Way to go Jenny Han, can't wait for the sequel!

it's over. The Mortal Instruments. it's actually over.

I'm not going to talk about how much I love these characters because you can read about that in every other TMI review. I won't even talk about Cassandra Clare's way of writing, because I've mentioned how captivating it is a dozen times before.

I'm simply going to talk about my love for this whole saga. And how this end affected me.

They say that you can fall in love with someone at first sigh. That's what I did - with City of Bones. And for each passing day, my love just grew stronger and stronger.

TMI has taught me so much. I never knew that I could become so close friends with fictional characters, as if they were real. Which they are, to me.



I remember when I first came across City of Bones in my local library. The book was thick, I wasn't used to reading that heavy books. But something just pulled me to it. Something made me borrow it at take it home with me. That pull I felt towards City of Bones is something I've never felt for a book before. Like I was destined to find it.

No one taught me more about life or myself than Clary did. I could relate to Clary so much, and from the moment I got to know her I knew that she'd make me a better person. And she did. Clary taught me about sacrifice, and about love, and to fight for what you love. She taught me to never give up, ever. I've followed her through six books, and with each book she grew. She became this beautiful woman, and I too, grew with her. Just like a parabatai.

Every time I visit the shadowhunter world I feel loved and happy. That's where I go when I want to escape the real mundane world. That's my safe haven.
I will miss them all so so dearly, but I think there's no secret that I love Magnus Bane a that bit more. I have a thing for gay guys. And Magnus Bane is the sassiest f**king freewheeling bisexual of them all. He is probably the most beautiful character that Cassandra Clare has ever created. He is just so full of everything. May it be happiness, joy, adventure, wisdom or love. And he feels so deeply. He burns so bright, it's almost hard to look at him straight (HAHAHAHAHAHA).

his whole being is just so capturing. He is so hard to understand, and that fascinates me. I've never been so hooked to a character as I am to Mr. Bane. I will never forget him, for he will be my joy when I need it the most.
They all will. The whole city will. I can't believe it's over. It was a beautiful ending. One that I actually can live with.


Thank you Cassie, you gave me something I'll cherish the rest of my breathing life.

That was my first reaction. What on earth is this.
I'm an avid reader. I read all the time, I talk about what I read, and I write about it too. I've come across some great, bad, fast paced, slow paced, incoherent, etc. books in my days.

But THIS book right here was just so hard to understand. The beginning did not make sense at all, the background story lacked important information that I'd like to have just to UNDERSTAND what I'm reading. Feeling clueless of what's happening 250 pages in is just not right. But as the real fighter I am I kept going. Kept fighting this book. 

AAAAND I did not like it. I think there's a great story that's being told BUT everything went super fast in my opinion and not much facts to why everything that happened was given. The biggest issue I had with this book though was that I had a very hard time remembering all the characters. They kind of just melted together. 

To sum things up, nice story, poorly told.

Legend lämnar oss mitt i ett kaotiskt ögonblick. Days bror John har blivit dödad och det råder tumult i Los Angeles. Man vet inte riktigt vart man har Day och June, är de tillsammans? Kommer de att hålla? Ingen som vet, ingen som vet...

Jag hade verkligen höga förväntningar av denna bok och Marie Lu överträffade dem verkligen. Hennes sätt att skildra karaktärerna på är väldigt fängslande, hon tar dig högst upp på en läskig berg-och-dalbana och låter dig vara där ett bra tag. Du känner spänningen och obehaget som sakta kryper sig in under ditt skinn, och precis när du börjat lugna dg och tro att du inte alls kommer behöva åka ner så släpper hon ned dig. Det är läskigt. Det är fantastiskt. Det gör boken så jäkla bra.

AS I have longed THIS BOOK!
I've been walking around for half a year and thought of this book. Book one was awesome and the second was definitely just as well!
Legend leaves us in the midst of a chaotic moment. Day's brother John is killed and there is a riot in Los Angeles. You do not really know where you have Day and June, are they together? Will they last? Nobody knows, nobody knows ...

I had indeed high expectations of this book and Marie Lu surpassed them indeed. Her way of depicting the characters on is very captivating, she takes you on the top of a scary roller-coaster ride and lets you be there a while. You feel the tension and discomfort that slowly creeps under your skin, and just when you begin to calm yourself and think that you will not have to go down she lets you down. It's scary yet fantastic.

Eleanor & Park handlar om den första, men ofullständiga kärleken, men för alltid oförglömlig.
Det är en väldigt fin berättelse. 
Man blir helt varm i kroppen när man läser Elanor & Park. Det är lite som att vara kär i deras kärlek.

Fick berättelsen ett lyckligt slut? Skulle jag verkligen inte påstå. Men det var det som gjorde hela boken. Som en borttappad pusselbit.

Jag rekommenderar denna bok starkt till alla kärleksfanatiker därute, och gamla som unga, för vår första kärlek är inget vi kommer glömma.

The Jungle Book REVIEW

I chose to read the Jungle Book for my English book analysis paper :)
I'm glad I did.
The Jungle Book is a collection of short stories, but they all take place out in the wild. The most famous ones are about Mowgli and his adventures in the jungle, how the other animals react to having him there etc.

This is not like the Disney movie version. Baloo isn't as free spirited as in the movie, and Mowgli doesn't really dance around.
It's a very powerful story though, that reflects how our society is build today. If you are looking for a book that will be fun to read but at the same time leave you with a lot of political questions this the book for you to read!

FINALLY, I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON THIS BOOK!

I read the first book over one year ago, and I'm glad that I choose to continue with the series.
I forgot how addicting Michelle Hodkin's writing can be. I remember thinking that the first book reminded me of Twilight, but I honestly don't know what I was thinking then. 

Noah Shaw. Yet another fictional crush of mine. Hodkin's wrote about mental ilness in a very true way, and every page build p beautifully to the climax. No plot holes as far as I'm concerned, and the story kept a nice pace. 

BUT. Be prepared for a lot of unanswered questions that I think will be answered in the third installment. I'm curios to know what will happen, but i'm darn sure that ending was a bluff. It has to be.

Well, this one sure took me a while to finish. Give or take one month. 
In the beginning I had a very hard time grasping what era we were in. No explanation on that until 50 pages, and that is frustrating. I like knowing which era I'm in thank you very much. 

Cate is a strong protagonist, she questions everything things other people don't which will get her into great danger, but it does serve her good too. She doesn't let a man control her like the other women in town do. 


But at times she can be a real pain in the bum. She seems to think she needs to share everything  with her sisters, and she feels like a bad sister if she does not. I did not get that. Why would you have to tell them everything? 

This is a book about witches, and if you ask me it have some dystopian elements, and I think that made it a bit more boring. No real colors in this book that made my reality a tad bit more colorful. I mean, Sweden looks like a white mess at this moment. 

I think this book is the first book in a trilogy. I did't like this one so much but I might check out the second book. They just translated it to Swedish.

So much better than the first one I must say!
What a journey! This is the magic I've heard so much about, and wanting to take apart of, YES, AMAZING!
I feel like so much more made sense to me now, the movie doesn't bring all the aspects to light and that leaves me with a lot of unanswered questions, and books are just in general more detailed than movies.
I can totally see the chemistry between Ron and Hermione, it's so obvious!

A character that I did not quite like was actually Ginny Weasly. She is so weird, I always imagined her looking like this

every time Hary came around. I guess she will mature up when she gets older. Or at least I hope....

Oh Mead oh Mead. 

I Have to start of by saying; I love Adrian Ivashkov more that a mother ever loved her first born child. I think Adrian and Sydney are a badass team, they really work together. They are my otp. Don't forget that okay?

TFH starts off where the last book ended, where Sydney goes back to Adrian and they become a couple and all that jazz. 

AND LORDY LORD are they not just swoon worthy? Yes. Yes they are. There is so much romance going on in this book, and I loved it. Because that's what we've been hoping for since book #1 right?

but. 
There romance kept on going strong chapter. after. chapter. 
Every freaking chapter was either about
1. They wanted to make out like animals
2. rip each other's clothes of
3. sex thoughts
4. sex thoughts

But because of Zoe and Jill who would have the front seat to every romantic aspect they had to be careful. But it was always in their thoughts. 

Sydney have changed a lot, like really A LOT. I like that she have become her own person with her own believes, I knew that that would happen eventually. She's a smart person. But at the same time she became a bit careless in a very none Sydney way... 

All that made the plot weak and after a while... pretty boring. 


The best part about this book though is that's it's written from both Adrian's and Sydney's POV, and I don't think I can express in words how happy it makes me to be inside Adrian's head. He is such a complex character and he have always fascinated me. His head works in a different way because of all the spirit and that makes him the most interesting character on earth. Plus he is super duper sexy. 

The only real action happened towards the end, and If you've read Vampire Academy you KNOW that Richelle Mead knows how to illustrate awesome fight scenes. 

But WHY we had to wait to the end to get that? I don't know.
She had so many opportunities to make it more fierce, scenes where she could have put in a strigoi or two, or maybe have Angeline do something really stupid that would've gotten her into trouble etc. but no no, she decided to put alllll that focuse on the romantic aspects.

Back to the end. I think it ended great. Freaking cliffhanger but nonetheless amazeballs. I'm not saying I didn't see it coming because I did out of pretty obvious reasons, but I liked how it turned out. That gives me hope that the 5th book might actually be action-packed.
