I love these short stories, they give us a better insight on what went down in the past. I'd love to know more about Edmund HERONDALE, he seems very interesting indeed (he is a Herondale afterall).

can we just take a moment to.... wow.
it's over. The Mortal Instruments. it's actually over.

I'm not going to talk about how much I love these characters because you can read about that in every other TMI review. I won't even talk about Cassandra Clare's way of writing, because I've mentioned how captivating it is a dozen times before.

I'm simply going to talk about my love for this whole saga. And how this end affected me.

They say that you can fall in love with someone at first sigh. That's what I did - with City of Bones. And for each passing day, my love just grew stronger and stronger.

TMI has taught me so much. I never knew that I could become so close friends with fictional characters, as if they were real. Which they are, to me.



I remember when I first came across City of Bones in my local library. The book was thick, I wasn't used to reading that heavy books. But something just pulled me to it. Something made me borrow it at take it home with me. That pull I felt towards City of Bones is something I've never felt for a book before. Like I was destined to find it.

No one taught me more about life or myself than Clary did. I could relate to Clary so much, and from the moment I got to know her I knew that she'd make me a better person. And she did. Clary taught me about sacrifice, and about love, and to fight for what you love. She taught me to never give up, ever. I've followed her through six books, and with each book she grew. She became this beautiful woman, and I too, grew with her. Just like a parabatai.

Every time I visit the shadowhunter world I feel loved and happy. That's where I go when I want to escape the real mundane world. That's my safe haven.
I will miss them all so so dearly, but I think there's no secret that I love Magnus Bane a that bit more. I have a thing for gay guys. And Magnus Bane is the sassiest f**king freewheeling bisexual of them all. He is probably the most beautiful character that Cassandra Clare has ever created. He is just so full of everything. May it be happiness, joy, adventure, wisdom or love. And he feels so deeply. He burns so bright, it's almost hard to look at him straight (HAHAHAHAHAHA).

his whole being is just so capturing. He is so hard to understand, and that fascinates me. I've never been so hooked to a character as I am to Mr. Bane. I will never forget him, for he will be my joy when I need it the most.
They all will. The whole city will. I can't believe it's over. It was a beautiful ending. One that I actually can live with.


Thank you Cassie, you gave me something I'll cherish the rest of my breathing life.

Häng med till New Yorks mörka sida, där nattens och skuggornas varelser rör sig! Egentligen vill Clary Fray bara att livet ska bli normalt igen. Men vad är definitionen av normalt när man plötsligt kan se varulvar, vampyrer och älvor på gatorna, lever som en demondödande skuggjägare och har en mamma som ligger i en magipåverkad koma? Clary försöker dra sig undan från skuggornas värld. 

Hon vill umgås mer med Simon (kanske mer än som vän?), men skuggjägaren Jace låter henne inte gå så lätt. Och den enda chansen Clary har att rädda sin mamma är att leta upp den onde skuggjägaren Valentin. Mannen som bland annat dödat Clarys morföräldrar - och visar sig vara hennes far.

Känns som det var åååår sedan jag läste Stad av Aska (fast på engelska då)... Vilket det var. När det finns många böcker i en serie börjar allt bara smälta ihop för mig. Jag vet inte vad som hände i vilken bok, bara att det har hänt. 

Stad av Aska är lugnet före stormen, men med det menar jag inte att boken är tråkig på något sätt alls, åh nej, snarare tvärtom, Stav av Aska är action-packad, vi dras allt djupare in i Shadowhunter världen, och det finns verkligen ingen återvändo.

Personligen tycker jag att det är kul att få se mer utav Simon i den här boken, för han är en sådan underbar karaktär som man bara vill veta mer av, vad han äter, vad han dricker, vad an gör 5 på dagen osv. Verkligen en charmör!

And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil — and also her father.

To complicate matters, someone in New York City is murdering Downworlder children. Is Valentine behind the killings — and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to betray everything he believes in to help their father?

Feels like it was years since I read City of, Ashes (though in English then) ... Which it was. When there are many books in a series things starts to just melt together for me. I do not know what happened in the book, just that it has happened.

City of, Ashes is the calm before the storm, but by that I mean not that the book is boring in any way at all, oh no, quite the opposite, City of, Ashes is action-packed, we are drawn ever deeper into the Shadowhunter world, and there is certainly no turning back.


Personally I think it's fun to see more of Simon in this book, because he is such a wonderful character that you just want to know more of, what he eats, what he drinks, what he does at 5 and so on. Truly a charmer!

I HAVE OFFICIALLY SEEN CITY OF BONES!

3 years ago it was announced - a movie company had bought the filming rights to adapt city of bones.

Over a 1000 days later I'm here on my sofa.

I'm different.

Because I've seen the movie now.

And I loved it.

Best night of my year so far.

Everything was PER-FECT,  to every little detail,  and the CAST!!

I still can't believe that I've seen the movie,  it feels so surreal,  I've been counting down for over a year and now the countings over.  Because I have seen the movie. 

I have to tell you guys about the girl who sat beside my friend Linnea, she got mad at us because we were totally fangirling, and when people started to laugh because of something they said in the movie she was like "eeh, why are they laughing" and during the whole thing she said "this didn't happen in the book, that's different,  they missed this" and blah vlah blah.

I think my outfit rocked If I may say so myself.

the german trailer is so intense, I can't even, It's in their language, so most of you will probably understand nada like me, but it really does not matter, because the trailer is awesome anyway, ugh, this movie trailer will be my freaking death.
