A Christmas CarolBy Charles Dickens
Pages: 104
Publisher: Bethany House Publishers

Cruel miser Ebeneezer Scrooge has never met a shilling he doesn’t like...and hardly a man he does. And he hates Christmas most of all. When Scrooge is visited by his old partner, Jacob Marley, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come, he learns eternal lessons of charity, kindness, and goodwill.

What a lovely book! Me and my friend Maria have read this book aloud to each other, with candles and hot chocolate, we really got up the Christmassy mood, and this book only intensifies the atmosphere to the max!
This is a true Christmas book that should be read a bit at a time every day until Christmas Eve. This is how a classic should be! No wimpy love story here no (Pride and Prejudice), but it's more about the unconditional love we spread over this festive period. Charles Dickens, you know your thing.

Falla Sönder / Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1,5) REVIEW +

Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5)Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5)Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5)

Back at the base and recovering from his near-fatal wound, Warner must do everything in his power to keep his soldiers in check and suppress any mention of a rebellion in the sector. Still as obsessed with Juliette as ever, his first priority is to find her, bring her back, and dispose of Adam and Kenji, the two traitors who helped her escape. But when Warner’s father, The Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment, arrives to correct his son’s mistakes, it’s clear that he has much different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner simply cannot allow.

In this novel we get to know Warner a little better.
In Shatter Me book ends very abruptly, Juliette escapes the base with Adam, which was not suppose to happen.

Warner was in my eyes that horrible man with not a single ounce of humanity in the blood. He was brutally compassionate and seemed not to care about anyone but Juliette. Though I'd probably call it obsession.
As I said in my Shatter Me REVIEW I thought Tahereh Mafi tried too much. Her characters did not understand humor, and they were extremely serious. * yawn *.

I begin to realize that Mafi want to get Warner to appear as a man with a tragic background which results his current behavior. He is not really horrible. He has a soft interior. He is vulnerable. He is BLA BLA BLA, I really do not want to hear it! Warner was BRUTAL in Shatter me, he went WAAAY too far to "train Juliette" as I said in my review Shatter me, I think Juliette is suffering from a mental disability, so I guess that Warner and she fits because he clearly suffers from serious obsession problems.
I am not going to read the sequal

What Really Happened in Peru (The Bane Chronicles Part #1) REVIEW +

What Really Happened in Peru (The Bane Chronicles, #1)By Cassandra Clare and Sarah Rees Brennan

ebook133 pages
Published April 16th 2013 by Margaret K. McElderry Books

There are good reasons Peru is off-limits to Magnus Bane. Follow Magnus’s Peruvian escapades as he drags his fellow warlocks Ragnor Fell and Catarina Loss into trouble, learns several instruments (which he plays shockingly), dances (which he does shockingly), and disgraces his host nation by doing something unspeakable to the Nazca Lines.

easy read book, the book was about Magnus and I just adore him, he is so cute. Cassie wrote this book together with another author, which I think was unnecessary. the book was very fast paced and I didn't really get a hum on WHY this story was even told but I had some great moments with the book when I just laughed out loud.
3/5

Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky 0.5) REVIEW

Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky, #0.5)
By Veronica Rossi

ebook68 pages
Published October 30th 2012 by HarperCollins

Before Perry and Aria, there was Roar and Liv.

After a childhood spent wandering the borderlands, Roar finally feels like he has a home with the Tides. His best friend Perry is like a brother to him, and Perry's sister, Liv, is the love of his life. But Perry and Liv's unpredictable older brother, Vale, is the Blood Lord of the Tides, and he has never looked kindly on Roar and Liv's union. Normally, Roar couldn't care less about Vale's opinion. But with food running low and conditions worsening every day, Vale's leadership is more vital—and more brutal—than ever. Desperate to protect his tribe, Vale makes a decision that will shatter the life Roar knew and change the fate of the Tides forever.
I liked this book, it was short and exswee, yes I just created that word, the book was quite not exciting but almost there, quite not sweet, but almost.

I didn't understand Roar so well. he made me confused, the first day he was all ok, second day a jealous psyco and the third all loving and God knows what. the other characters were good, didn't get to know them that well to give a real opinion since this was a short book.

I have been wanting to read under the never sky since waay back but something has been holding me back.. but I think I might just give this one a try :)
