The Book Thief movie REVIEW

"While subjected to the horrors of World War II Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. Under the stairs in her home, a Jewish refugee is being sheltered by her adoptive parents."
I saw the Book Thief today with Carin and Julia!

What a beautiful movie.

If you've read my book review of the Book Thief you know that I couldn't finish it. Not because it was bad, I just... couldn't.

The movie didn't wow me at all, to be honest it's not a movie I would watch willingly on a saturday night.
But yet I find myself captured.
It makes you think, question your beliefs and it made me realize that there are no winners in a war. None.
Since this is a movie that takes place during the second world war it's about a lot of stuff that we already know, but how many of us have thought about how this all affected the "pure" Germans?

I think what this movie and book is all about is to get you think, it's not all there for you to just read but you have to make up your own conclusions sometimes.

What I thought was cool was that they never mentioned that the narrator was Death, while in the book that's one of the first things you get to read about.
The actors did a GREAT job, they couldn't have picked a better Liesel or Rudy.

Overall, a well done movie, boring at times but definitely a story that will stick with me for the rest of my life!

A new Vampire Academy trailer!
To be completely honest I think this movie might actually be good. It's like a Vampire/ Comedy movie, and that could be fun right?

Catching Fire Movie REVIEW

Wow.

This is what happens when you stay true to the book. It becomes a masterpiece. Mr. Lawrence get that (Other directors, TAKE NOTE).
The movie was more than what I expected, a little bit slow in the beginning like the book, but after maybe 40 min things started to heat up. There isn't so much to say about the story other than that they painted everything up better than Picasso could ever do, But what I really want to discuss is the environment.
The districts.
The capitol.
The Arena.
Just about every special scene in the book.
Was made so perfectly.

Everything was pretty much perfect, How the whole world was created just took my breath, away, you can almost SEE the money they put down floating around on the big screen hehe. But as they say, Life is nothing without the different characters we meet. Just as this movie would be nothing without all the actors/characters. I cannot express in words how satisfied I am with the acting. They did ALL an amazing job, the chemistry between Josh/Peeta and Jennifer/ Katniss was very realistic, maybe because they are really good friends irl, I don't know. My favorite new character must be Finnick (Sam Claflin) I loved him in the book too, so I did ave high expectations, I knew that it would be hard to play that characters, beause he IS  deep person, he just doesn't show that, but at the same time we all knew it. Does that make any sense? Probably not. Anyway, Sam did a really great job playing Finick I think, and I'm very excited to see him in Mocking Jay part 1!

Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters Official Teaser #1

It's here y'all!
Hmm I don 't know what to day, just that It pretty much is so much more different than the book. I don't think I like it. I pretty much hate the casting, This is not how they looked in my head, but I adore the actress who plays Rose (Zoey)
Oh well, It might still be a great movie!

Warm bodies movie Review

After R (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

I love R!!!
What a zombie, so hwat ;)
in the beginning I was like eegh what is this, but the more human R got the more I liked the story, Julie was so sweet, she was very down to earth and her character was just a really caring girl, she reminded me of a blond kristen Stewart with more facial expressions.

If you liked twilight and if you like apocalypse movies/books in general you should definitely give this one a try!

u mad bro?

Books vs Movies (okey, books will always win but we have to keep things feisty

and then we have the movies coming up next year like Vampire Academy (or blood sisters as they like to call it, and mockingjay (one of my fav books!), and DIVERGENT (im jumping up and down writing Divergent) and Delirium ( i haven't even read it yet but im super excited)

all this awesome books, I can't even begin with describing how awesome this movie year is gonna be, Im doing my best seperating the books from the movies so I don't get disappointed which is surprisingly easy since I don't quite even remember any details from the three most exciting movies coming up this year. All I remember is that I gave the book 5 stars and I don't give away 5 stars that easily. except for Catching Fire. I hated that book. but I think I will love the movie.

I don't know what you guys are saving money for, but im saving up for cinema tickets.

Beautiful Creatures: movie

if you have followed my blog for a while you know that i HATED THIS BOOK, and when i got to know that they were gonna turn it into a movie i LOLed and even warned my FB friends not to see it, because this movie had become such an hype.
But then, at the last bookblog event i went to I got tickets for 2 to go and see this movie. and well, it was free so yeah, i wen't and saw the movie. the only reason i even did that was because i wanted to write a bad review about the book.
and here it GOES...
for starters, the movie was better than the book. but it wasn't good.
Ethan and Lena were two very strange characters, they are SO MUCH LIKE EDWARD AND BELLA expect that the rolls are changed.
however i liked the environment, the "fantasy scenes" were very well made.
this movie was a lot like twilight expect much much... crappier. that "love at first sight but at a fantasy level" "i will never leave you, idc that it will kill us" "our love is stronger than nature" all that crap was there, and  i can't deal with that, uhuh, 12 year old scout girls might enjoy it but not 16 year old me, uh uh.

Atleast i had some great snack by me throe the movie
