Teatime with Lihini +

Yay it's teatime! today I will be interviewing Fredrik. He asked me if I wanted some candy one day in school and that is how we became friends.

Lihini: Hi!
Lihini: How are you?

Fredrik: I’m fine, thank you for asking! How about you?

Lihini: I’m eating a cupcake atm so my quite great. Would you like to tell us who you are and why you are here?

Fredrik: Nope. I refuse. You can't make me!

Lihini: please *big sad convincing eyes*

Fredrik: Okaaay... Hi my name is Karl Olov Fredrik Lundström aka. "The best fucking person in this despicable world"

Lihini: ah, I doubt the last statement, but let's continue anyway shall we?

Fredrik: I’m here because I have a friend, a very short and special friend. Did I mention that she was short? Oh yeah I did. Anyway, this friend has a blog about books and other essential things, and I ended up here since you have been dying to interview me post our little chat!

Lihini: I am not that short!
I could easily take you in a fight, no doubt.

Fredrik: We'll continue whenever you are past my statement of you being short.
Let us put that fight in our schedule after our tea hour on Friday!
We will post updates

Lihini: hahahaha
Lihini: Since I know that you like to read before you go to bed I have to ask you, what book did you read before you went to bed yesterday?
Fredrik: I am actually waiting for a book delivery on Friday, with a book I am dying to read but at the moment I am reading Wuthering heights by Emily Brontë
Lihini: Would you mind sharing WHY you like to read before you go to sleep?

Fredrik: I read before my nap nap cause it allows me to be in charge of my mind and therefore control my ability to sleep. I used to have a shitty sleeping structure with only 4-6 hours per night but now I am able to sleep up to 10 hours if I feel for it. The key is to have a cool down period before entering your real sleep. I read 30-60 minutes before I want to sleep. This requires some structure and planning but it enables me to become a stronger (both physically and mentally) version of me. Reading in a room with low light relaxes the mind and make you feel more at home. You realize how much your mind and body want you to sleep. So reading is more than just reading.

Lihini: You are very smart Fredrik
Lihini: If you had to pick a book that describes your life the best which book would you choose and why?

Fredrik: I don’t think a book could really describe my life. Since my life is not a book and not yet written down to book-form!

Lihini: do you think your life would be interesting to read about?

Fredrik: Haha! Funny question! That requires a definition of interesting. But my thoughts would be somewhat interesting and rewarding but my actual life is something I choose not to put a title on!

Lihini: I would name it "the life of being Stitch"
Lihini: What is it that you look for in a good book?

Fredrik: It might seem a bit cheesy but I actually look for complex descriptions of love and life as in "The sorrows of young Werther" or "Wurthering heights".
Lihini: Name your favorite character and why.

Fredrik: Easy question! Hands down, without a doubt Bilbo because he is part of a wonderful story with a great psychological evolution!

Lihini: if you say so, I thought it was boring, but you already know that *wink*
Lihini: Have you ever wanted to punch an author in the face?

Fredrik: No but yes! Never thought of it in that particulate way but now that you mention it I do.

Lihini: really, and who would have the honor to be slapped by you?
Fredrik: Stephenie Meyer

Lihini: aw that is mean; she was the one who got me into reading!

Fredrik: Nevertheless I could not finish the first quarter of the first book.

Lihini: the book kind of heat up later on.
Lihini: Let’s play a game, I ask you five quick questions and you have to give me the first answer that pops into your head ok?

Fredrik: Sure thing Short one!
Lihini: Shut up Giant

Fredrik: Frost bitten tree. oh, thought we had started.

Lihini: What would you bring with you if you were stranded on an island, body lotion to keep your skin from drying out or a book of choice?

Fredrik: I think I have to say book but not really sure

Lihini: What character would you love to trade place with?

Fredrik: Also Bilbo!

Lihini: Have you ever cried while reading a book?
Lihini: quick answer big foot!

Fredrik: Kind of a personal question but yes!

Lihini: this interview is all about digging up, I will have you reveal your most embarrassing moments, just because I can
Lihini: I heard a rumor about you last week. Is it true that you can quote the whole 50 shades of grey trilogy?

Fredrik: Sad but true
Fredrik: Is it true that you have a pet elephant called Dumbo that can soar off into the night using his ears as wings?

Lihini: wait, I’m the interviewer, not you. But yes. It’s true.Lihini: would you rather eat up your own foot while it’s still attached to you or would you sacrifice your first born child to the devil?

Fredrik: I would sacrifice a Barbie doll as a decoy to get him out of the underworld so that I can conquer it.

Lihini: good luck with that. I do not think you will be able to pull it out. Sorry.
Lihini: this is a standard question, and I know my readers are dying to know, are you single?

Fredrik: Yes

Lihini: YOU HERE THAT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN GO AND ADD HIM ON FACEBOOK!

Fredrik: oh didn't listen there it’s a no

Lihini: What a shame, I’m sure there are quite a few ladies out there who have already looked you up on Facebook.
Lihini: Thank you very much Bigfoot for joining us today, and we hope to meet you again very soon!

Fredrik: Thank you for having me! Good luck with your blog miniperson!

Lihini: I’m sure who have smaller friends in your life.
Fredrik

Teatime With Lihini Guest Klara Palm

L: Hey Klara how are you?

K: I'm great, thanks for asking! How are you?

L: Im doing great myself. What are your plans for the summer?

K: Visiting our summer house, hanging out with friends, reading a ton of books, swimming and so on. In conclusion; the usual stuff.

L: Haha that sounds like a lot of fun! Have you set a reading list?

K: I haven't actually! Do you have one?

L: Yes I have one, and I uploaded it yesterday actually! Do you mind sharing some of the books on your list?

K:A few books that I'm planning on reading are The Hobbit, The Catcher in the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, The outsiders, Divergent series, Paper Towns and Thirteen Reasons Why.

L: Im reading the hobbit this summer too! I think you will like divergent, i know i do. What have you chosen these books in particular to read, im wondering because these are not really "summerish" books?

K: I'm not sure... They are just books that I haven't read that seem really enjoyable. However, I will most likely raid the library on more summerish books. For example I absolutely love Sarah Dessen's books!

L:Do you have a favorite?

K: By Sarah Dessen or in general?

L: By Sarah Dessen

K: I would probably say What Happened To Goodbye, but I like all of her books because they are all breezy and likable.

L: If you were going to be stranded on a island for the rest of your life, which 3 books would you bring with you and why?

K: City of Glass by Cassandra Clare, Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins because they are my favorites and I pretty much read them all the time. If I wasn't able to read them whenever I wanted to I would probably go mental.

L: Haha, I have to agree with you, City of Glass have become a part of my life. Why do you like the hunger games so much?

K: Because it contains a lot of social criticism but at the same time it's very thrilling, intense and the characters are amazing.

L: Do you think the book have a greater meaning? Do you think Collins wanted to say something with this book?

K: Definately! I think she wanted readers to think about what the media and reality TV makes people do. I also think that she wanted people to believe that it's possible to make a change and realise that it can be good to question old habits.

L: That's a good theory and I have to agree with you. Its more than just a book. I have one last question for you, if you could meet ANY author or character of choice, who would it be and why?

K: Jace from the Mortal Instruments! He's simply amazing!

L: Would you like to tell us a bit more why you think he is amazing?

K:He's extremely funny, handsome(at least in my head), smart, faithful, loving, witty, you get the picture I could go on like this for a while. Don't you just love Jace? Mabye you would like to see his mangoes?;)

L: Hahahahaha, I adore Jace, it's soo funny that u ask me about his mangoes because I just uploaded a pic about that to instagram. Thank you for taking the time to do this interview, and have a great evening with lots of mangoes!

K: It was my pleasure! Have a wonderful evening and hopefully I'll see you soon!

Teatime With Lihini!

L: hello William, how are you?
W: im fine. how are you?
L: im good, a bit tired hehe
W: okey, I can tell...
L: what do you mean?
W: you look very beautiful
L: that's so sweet of you to say. what are your plans for today?
W: nothiiiiiiing
L: what a boring life you must have
W: it's fantastic.
L: let's agree to disagree.
so, every time I see you sitting alone I always see a nintendo or a book in your hands. what are you reading right now?
W: The last book in the Inheritence chronicle, named Inheritence, you may have heard of it's prequels Eragon and The eldest.
L: I have! I have the book Eragon at home but I can't bring myself to read it... is the book any good?
W: Eragon is great, not the best book in the series, which would be The eldest, but it is actually one of the best books i've ever read.
L: hm, maybe I should read it then... so, I get the vibe that The eldest is not your favourite book, am i right?
W: It was for a couple of years, but it's also a book aimed towards younger people and I did kind of out grow it.
L: which book is your favorite book at the moment?
W: Name of the wind, The wise mans fear or one of the books in A song of ice and fire, I'm not good at deciding such things.
L: do you have a favorite author?
W: George RR Martin, or the one who wrote the name of the wind, don't remember his name.
L: why is he your favorite author?
W: His books are good, and a bit different. They are also very complex and there is a wide variation of extremely detailed characters.
L:is that soo... so, do you have a book that you would destroy every copy of and why?
W: No, not really. I once attempted to read New moon, but I couldn't finish it since it was terrible and I hated it with every inch of my body. But that doesn't mean i want to light it on fire or anything.
L: you are so weird. you didn't even read the first book. that is like begging for the book Gods to kill you.
W: They can try to smite me if they want to, I'm stronger than them.
L: don't be so sure, i might even help them.. okay, my last question.. Im sure you have a lot of girls falling head over heels for you, you good looking fella, but are you single?
W: No I'm not, I currently have several girlfriends, simultaneously, I'm what some people would call a "PIMP"
L: well then I guess some of my readers could be added to your long list of girlfriends, since you don't seem to have troubles having more than one girlfriend?
W: Yeah, I might even help them make some money on the side.
L: hahahaha, you are so weird, I like you. okay, that was it, thank you for your time William Winberg!
W: thank YOU BEAUTIFUL
L: no, stop, im not going out with you
W: okey...

Teatime With Lihini

Me:Hi Klara, how are you doing?

Klara: Hello. Not very well, having a bad cold....

Me:sucks, have you taken any medicins?

Klara: No...  only alvedon

Me: hopefully you will get well soon. I know you wen't to India on a vacation, how was your trip?!

Klara: Yes, me to  ooh it was amazing! Hot, sunny, lovely people and beaches. And of course, sweet lemon soda. Haha I probably drank at least 3 a day
I can really recommend India as your next vacation destination

Me: i love lemon soda, so tasty! it's not too sweet which i like. i have been to India twice, but i was only 2 years old at that time so I don't remember much. or nothing at all actually. the people living in India, how was their english?

Klara: Ooh, its close to sri lanka, perhaps you can go there sometime when you're visiting your relatives. Uum, it was actually very good. They have a strange pronunciation but their grammar was good and almost everyone could speak English

me: yeah i would love to go there one more time, It seems like a really interesting country. did you find good english books there or was all their books in english?

Klara: I didnt look, because i brought my own books. But at our hotel in north Goa there was a library where you could donate old books. Many if them were in english

Me: that's considerate. what books did you bring with you?

Klara: The white tiger, the hunger games and confessions of a shopaholic.

Me: they are pretty different from each-other, tell me more about the books, what did you think of the books?

Klara: Yes they are! The white tiger was about a poor boy in India and at the beginning I thought it was boring but it turned out pretty good. Strange but good. Shopaholic I can really recommend. You just read and don’t have to think. Haha. The hunger games. Do i have to explain more? The hunger games is simply the hunger games. Even better in english than in Swedish

me: so you enjoyed the hunger games? i personally hated it

Klara: Whaaat?  how can you? I loove all the three books. They have everything; love, hate, excitement, death...EVERYTHING. i liked twilight but not anymore because the hunger games have taken its place in my heart

me: you cannot be serious, the hunger games was just so... plain. Except for the third book. i cried my eyes out at the third book  so beside from The hunge rgames, it there other book series you really like?

Klara: Ooh i loved the second book, but also the ending of the series. But according to most of the people sucked the end, bit not according to me  uuhm... i love starcrossed and cant wait until the third book is out in store!! But also the books about becky bloomwood aka shopaholic

Me: omg u read starcrossed?! i didn't know that, i love the starcrossed series too! i think the third book comes out next year im afraid...
so you like the hunger games and starcrossed. any favourite author?

klara: Oh how nice  but i think i've heard that the release of the third book is in may 2013. But i can be wrong...  I usually dont think about how the author writes but i must say sophie kinsella i a good one and also stephanie meyer

me: you seem to be a girl with quite a assorted taste. I like that. I loved Stephenie Meyer when i was younger, too bad she haven't released anything new in like, five years. do you search for anything in particular when you look for a good book?

Klara: I look for love (i mean, which teenage girl doesn’t?) But also some fantasy to "escape" in if you know what i mean. Just to pretend that your life also can be that exciting... or im looking for silly, easy-read novels whom you can relax and laugh at.

Me: i understand exactly what you mean. so, do you have a favourite book?

Klara: Tricky question, i like sooo many books... but it must be catching fire by Suzanne Collins. The books i choose must look nice because i sort of collect on beautiful books. cant even throw away a pocket book...

Me: omg what on earth did you like about catching fire? it sucked in my opinion! yeah my books are like my babies

Klara: I liked everything!!! The new characters like finnick and johanna, the anger against the capitol and the REAL feelings between katniss and peeta.

Me: let's agree to disagree shall we? I't has been a Pleasure interviewing you, and i wish you nice evening!
Klara

L: i hate when that happens, It's like reading about sleeping characters, they don't to anything...

J: yeah exactly! so annoying

L:I know that you are very picky when it comes to choosing books, why do you think you are so picky?

J: yes that's true, i have really bad patient when it comes to book and other things in life, i don't know why i guess i was born that way hehe , but if the book i good i can't wait til i get home from school to read !

L:that's a bittersweet feeling, because if i have a good book waiting for me at home I don't socialize with my friends at school i just think about the book.. do you recognize yourself in that?

J: no actually not, i'm not really a bookfanatic i like talking not reading

L: that's right, i forgot hehe

L:i see. now my last question, would you rather read one super duper great book for the rest of the life or different half bad books for the rest of your life?

J: a super great i guess ? why would i want to read a half bad book for the rest of my life ?

L: no, you would be able to read DIFFERENT half bad books, not the same

J: aha haha still a super great i think

L: okey then! would you like to add something more to this interview? something you forgot to tell us, what you ate for lunch (chicken) how your spanish test went, secret crush?
