This book took me with storm!
I didn't think I would like it as much as I did, didn't like Anna and the French Kiss THAAAT much but this one was seriously adorkable. 

Lola actually inspired me to buy my own wig, I'm actually looking for a pink bob hehe :)

I've never met a more interesting character than Lola to be honest. She is so different and I love it! All the characters are exciting and fun to get to know, and they stand out in their own way. I think creating interesting characters is one of the hardest things to do and Stephanie did well in that department. 

The story itself wasn't WOOOW, nothing really huge happened, but I was more than okay with that, because this book is more about the characters than anything else.

Youtube + Bookshelf tour = My kind of fun

There are two things in this world that I'm obsessed with apart from books.

1. Youtube

I watch videos on Youtube every single day, That's my favorite thing to do when I eat my breakfast, or just food in general.

2. Bookshelves

Looking at other peoples bookshelves have become something I do more often than what I like to admit, I search up the hashtag #bookshelf on tumblr and Instagram on a daily basis, I just have to ok.

And then God decided 'let these things come together'

And we got.... Bookshelf tours on Youtube by Youtubers.

ISN'T THAT JUST LIKE THE BEST THING EVER!!?!?!?

I don't know why I like it so much, I just do, If I could watch bookshelf tours every single hour of the day, I would. 

You don't just PUT books up in a bookshelf, you put thought into how you are going to organize it and I just like seing how other people think.

5. A book I want to like, but can’t get into for whatever reason.

The Book Thief

I want to like this book. I want to like it A LOT. I want to read it and cry because I love the second world war and it's about a book thief. I have every reason to love this book really.

But... I just can't do it. I can't like it like I want to.

It's not bad, not at all, quite good actually. It's beautifully written and the narrator is Death himself (assuming it's a man) 

I FORCED myself to read every page, and I just stopped at page 250- something. 

It's not bad, but the story is just not for me I guess (which is unfortunate)

Känns som det var åååår sedan jag läste Stad av Aska (fast på engelska då)... Vilket det var. När det finns många böcker i en serie börjar allt bara smälta ihop för mig. Jag vet inte vad som hände i vilken bok, bara att det har hänt. 

Stad av Aska är lugnet före stormen, men med det menar jag inte att boken är tråkig på något sätt alls, åh nej, snarare tvärtom, Stav av Aska är action-packad, vi dras allt djupare in i Shadowhunter världen, och det finns verkligen ingen återvändo.

Personligen tycker jag att det är kul att få se mer utav Simon i den här boken, för han är en sådan underbar karaktär som man bara vill veta mer av, vad han äter, vad han dricker, vad an gör 5 på dagen osv. Verkligen en charmör!

Feels like it was years since I read City of, Ashes (though in English then) ... Which it was. When there are many books in a series things starts to just melt together for me. I do not know what happened in the book, just that it has happened.

City of, Ashes is the calm before the storm, but by that I mean not that the book is boring in any way at all, oh no, quite the opposite, City of, Ashes is action-packed, we are drawn ever deeper into the Shadowhunter world, and there is certainly no turning back.


Personally I think it's fun to see more of Simon in this book, because he is such a wonderful character that you just want to know more of, what he eats, what he drinks, what he does at 5 and so on. Truly a charmer!

Game of Thrones - George R. R. Martin

My Latest Obsession - The Originals

I've been a fan of The Vampire Diaries since it came out, I loved it quite a lot back in the days, other people would call me obsessed, but I call it being religiously dedicated ;)

BUT I've grown a biiit tired of it, is it just me or does everything seems to be about Elena? the new season seems better though.

But then The original vampires got a TV show. Okay I thought, let's check it out.

Bad idea.

Because I love it to a point where it's unhealthy. Like seriously.

The spin of series is so badass I can't even, I think I love Klaus and that right there is messed up. We get to know the originals better and I'm surprised that I grew so fond of them so fast, I used to hate them...

I don't think you need to have watched TVD to understand The Originals, but some things would make more sense if you'd watch TVD before.

Sometimes it feels like I've read every good book out there to read.
No, I'm serious, I have over 160 books on my "to-read" list but it still feels like there is nothing out there worth reading.
Kind of like picking clothes in the morning.

But I've learned to take advantage of my friends in the book community, so it's cool.

I can't believe I'm rating a JLA book 1 stars. 
She is one of my fav authors.
But I am.

You will nothing positive in this review, just so you know.

They have been friends since they were both little kids. And now they are twenty something. And they are both in love with one another. 
That right there is messed up because


1.  They don't act like that. Especially Sydney, she is always so weird around him, her jealousy is so obvious it's almost sad. 

2.  ONE DOES NOT HANG OUT WITH THEIR CRUSH FOR TWENTY YEARS WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Sydney could have been Bella Swan's sister, she cried all the freaking time, she is so insecure and it's depressing to read about. And she is doesn't value herself at all!


Kyler is a womanizer okay. He's been with half the woman population according to Syd, and she want's what the other girls have been getting from him 
Oh, okay. he's been with every single girl you know, and you still want him? He's never showed you interest in that way but you still want him? And better yet, you want to be another one of his girls? 
Oh no, I see nothing wrong in that. 
Not at all. 

And the writing! It's duo POV's and since WHEN do people use the same weird words when they think? Like Jesus H. Christ and stuff like that. They are two individuals. 
This book just made me angry, and the plot twist was so predictable it almost made me laugh. Almost.

3. Scientist FINALLY succeeded in making a machine that makes fictional characters real!!!

Okay so The Indigo spell wasn't my favorite but oh lordy cheeseballs, we'll get ADRIAN IVASHKOV POV'S and baby Jesus knows I love that vampire!!!! Judging by the synopsis I think this one will be hellova ride.

Wow really, only two book releases this month that I'm excited about? That's a first. 

Jennifer L. Armentrout is coming out with two new books this month (I know, craycray) But I'm not excited about the releases of the two books, and then the Bane Chronicles #8 is also coming out.

AND Champion which is the last book in the Legend trilogy, but since i've only read the first book I can't write about Champion here because I would be spoiling myself.
