TAG: Making a commitment to yourself.

I think we have all made ourselves a commitment that didn't stick.
Raise your hand if you have ever promised yourself that you would start eating healthier but failed.
Raise your hand if you have ever promised yourself that you would start eating breakfast everyday but failed.
Raise your hand if you have ever promised your hand to never fall in love with the douche at school but failed.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad about yourself, I'm just stating the obvious.

But it's time for a change.

It's time to learn how to make commitments the RIGHT way.

Every time we break our commitment our brain starts to think of reasons why we did it. We start making excuses. Because we can't accept that we just had a weak moment.

But no more weak moments.

When making a commitment we have to think about three things.

ACCEPT the new situation. ACCEPT that this is the way it will be from now.

Learn that SELF-DISCIPLINE is everything to succeed. There will come moment's when you just wan't to give up, crawl under the blankets and never come up. Learn to say NO to yourself.  Make no excuses.

And lastly but not least; NEVER FORGET WHY YOU ARE DOING IT.
No one makes a commitment because they have nothing else to do. We make commitments because we know that it will be healthy for us. We choose to make a change in our life, and we commit to it.

If you WILL you CAN.

Commitment!!Commitment

Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters Official Teaser #1

It's here y'all!
Hmm I don 't know what to day, just that It pretty much is so much more different than the book. I don't think I like it. I pretty much hate the casting, This is not how they looked in my head, but I adore the actress who plays Rose (Zoey)
Oh well, It might still be a great movie!

New Adult - the new hype?

New Adult, a genre directed to readers between the age of 18 - 25, because they are the new adults.
New Adult is the genre between Young Adult and Adult.

What is really the difference between YA, NA and A?

I would say that NA and A are almost identical, or in fact, books labeled NA are almost always also labeled either A or YA.

NA is a more grown up, that meaning that the characters are often more experienced in life that what YA characters are, and NA is a bit more heated than Young Adult.

I like NA books very much. I hate the label NA though.
I don't GET the genre, YA readers are not kids (well, it's not supposed to be read by teens) and even if kids read YA books they are obviously mature enough.

I like NA because there is no hiding around the bushes with NA. Everything is straight forward. I would have wished that there would be more Divergent/fallen angels/hungergames/vampire academy books written in a NA way. Meaning a more mature way.

I've seen books exploding into the NA world, and it's most YA authors widening their boundaries which I think is great.

If you are new to the whole NA thing (trust me, it's not that different from YA) you should start with the books down below
EasyWait for You (Wait for You, #1)

I am going to check out these books that I found in the NA category

The Edge of Never (The Edge of Never, #1)Fallen Too Far (Too Far, #1)Frigid (Frigid, #1)

Bully REVIEW (Fall away #1) REVIEW +

Bully (Fall Away, #1)By Penelope Douglas
Pages: 290

My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all.

We're neighbors, and once, we were best friends. But then, one summer, he turned on me and has made it his mission to screw up my life at every opportunity. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to hide from him. I worried about what was around every corner and behind every door.

So I left.

I spent a year studying abroad and bathed in the freedom of life without Jared. Now I'm back to finish up high school and get the hell out of here forever. I'm hoping that after a year of breathing room, he's moved on and forgotten all about me.

But even if he hasn't changed, I have. I'm not interested in avoiding him or turning the other cheek anymore. We're going to go head to head, because neither of us wants to back down

By the freaking angel what a irritating main character!!!!
I can't even remember her name for all the money in the world,  ugh I hated her a bit more every time I turned a page.
This book is called Bully.
Bully is when someone makes your life a living hell, you are scared of what this person's next move will be.
People don't fall in love with their bully, they are not supposed to see all the things the bully did not do. Like "he never touched me"
What the f?
Are you serious? Tell me you are kidding PLEASE .
*SPOILER ALERT DON'T READ BEYOND THIS POINT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS BOOK, HOWEVER I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK*
And then we have her "friend" K.C
Correct me if im wrong, but shouldn't friends be on your side?
Should friends go and hook up with the guy who have made your life a hell?
Jesus, Bullying is a serious thing, it's a heavy subject a lot of people go through and in my opinion this book handles the whole thing in such a ignorant way. I've been bullied and it felt like the book was laughing up my face. Like being bullied is not that bad. Bullshit.
I read 150 pages, but could not finish it.
I am utterly, truly disappointed.
1/5

UPDATE
I wrote this review yesterday and checked goodreads to get the synopsis. This book has 4,25/5 on GR.
And people keep talking about the end.
As much as I hate this book im thinking, maybe I should finish it. If I ever do and change my opinion I'll write another review.
until then

One year anniversary! (and a giveaway!) +

Me and my baby are celebrating our one year anniversary today! And of course I'm talking about the blog!
I can not believe it, I seriously can not believe this. Wow.
One year. 365 days. 415 posts, Over a hundred reviews, and God knows what more have lead us to this day. This is such a cliché thing to say, but Im going to say it anyway. I don't know where I would be, or WHAT I would be without this blog. I have this blog to thank for so many reasons, this year has been incredible. So flipping Incredible.
When I first started this blog I didn't have in mind that it would become this big. All I wanted was to practice my English.
As I said before this blog have given me so much, but three things that I will never forget was

1. When Simone Elkeles commented on my post that I wrote about her, AND shared it on her facebook and wrote "Sometimes a fan writes something so sweet about me it brings tears to my eyes!" Everytime I think about it I feel so proud of myself, and I feel honored. That I have, in some way, touched one of my favorite authors heart. This blog wouldn't be this huge if it wasn't for her and I thank her everyday. Thank you Simone Elkeles. You rock.

2. The time when I got recognized by a reader! She was like "omg It's you!" That was seriously a mind blow day, never ever had that happened before, to be honest I WAS STARSTRUCK to meet a reader in real life!

3. And lastly but NOT least, being able to share this journey with all of you guys! Sharing my reviews, healthy receipts, TAGS, feelings, just about everything I've wanted to share with people all over the world is one of the few things I look forward doing everyday.

So to thank all of you guys Im doing a giveaway! And yes, YOU ALL can participate, no matter country, this a INTERNATIONAL giveaway!

Im giving away four eBooks in E pub format* to four lucky readers, (yes, you will get four each!) all you have to do is comment down below why you like my blog, or your favorite post from this blog!

This is sick. absolutely sick. I swear that list was on 75 last week. Someone recommend a book and I just search it up, I don't even READ the synopsis, and I add it to my "to-read" list. absolutely crazy.

But I have books I've been wanting to read for ages but just haven't. either I don't have it or I just.. don't read it... But I wan't to though

The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1)Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)The Evolution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #2)Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)

Saving Francesca REVIEW +

Saving FrancescaBy Melina Machetta
publisher: Knopf Books for Young Readers
pages: 249

Francesca is stuck at St. Sebastian’s, a boys' school that pretends it's coed by giving the girls their own bathroom.  Her only female companions are an ultra-feminist, a rumored slut, and an impossibly dorky accordion player.  The boys are no better, from Thomas, who specializes in musical burping, to Will, the perpetually frowning, smug moron that Francesca can't seem to stop thinking about.

Then there's Francesca's mother, who always thinks she knows what's best for Francesca—until she is suddenly stricken with acute depression, leaving Francesca lost, alone, and without an inkling of who she really is.  Simultaneously humorous, poignant, and impossible to put down, this is the story of a girl who must summon the strength to save her family, her social life and—hardest of all—herself.

Heartwarming, witty and sweet, that's the words I would use to describe this piece.
A very short book indeed only 243 pages, but Marchetta compelled me with her marvelous story. I have to give her cred for writing about depression, real depression, How Francesca's mums situation affects them all, It felt very realistic.
The only thing I missed in this book was character peculiarity. Francesca was well made as a character, and I would have wished that Marchetta put down more time on her other characters.
