Lauren Kate, FALLEN

There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce – he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret...even if it kills her.
This book is kind of strange. I don't even know if i like it or not! But what made me pick the book, was the cover. Totally love it!
Sometimes it felt like I had to force myself to continue reading and sometimes it was good.
To be honest , it wasn't good it was, okay. Nothing more than okay.
But I mean, I don't even remember what the book was about! And that's a sign of a bad book isn't it? A book that don't leave you affected in anyway. Just, disappears.
But if I remember correctly, it didn't happened very much. Practically nothing actually.

I read the first and the second book, and I don't feel the urge to continue.
Don't read this book. It's not readable.

The mortal instrument

Maybe some of you know that the mortal instrument will be film. When I first heard it I was all "ooooh it's going to be the best movie ever! lalala..". That feeling lasted until I saw the cast list. When I saw it I just wanted to puke. Have the producers even read the books? And have the author Cassandra Clare anything to say about the choice of actors and actress? Don't think so. I mean just look at the pictured characters in the books and the actors!

Clary Fray (Lily Collins)
Clary is cute in the books.
Not described as beautiful like an
 angel and hot?

Alec Lightwood (Kevin Zegers)
Maaaabye this will work..But it's just the thing that he is supposed
to look like 17-18 years old and the actors like 28!
Don't know how they will fix that
but I hope they do.

Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan)
Aaargh! Idiots all over the place!
Why are they doing this?!
Simon is supposed to be a nerd,
not look like this, ugly and all.

Magnus Bane. (Godfrey Gao)
This might be the only actor that
will actually fit for the roll.

Jace Wayland (Jamie Bower)
I REALLY hope they are going
to make Jamie look like Jace.
He is one of the most important
characters in the book so I hope
he will fit for the roll.

Valentine Morgenstern (Jonathan
Meyers)
Well what more is there to say?
As you can see Valentine is
supposed to have grey hair and
all. But what do we get?
A kind of good-looking guy in his middle thirty's.

Isabelle Lightwood (Jemima West)
I pictured Isabelle with a kickass body and hot.Jemima have more the 'cute-look'.

The mortal instrument is one of my favorite books. They mean much to me. If they are going to screw the movie up. My pictured characters will be gone! And be replaced by the actors and actress. And I so not want that! Well I guess the only thing is to do is to hope that the movie will be good. But really, I doubt that.

stealing her blog for a while

Hi everyone in cyber! As you might know my very beloved friend is going to England for about a week, so I will be doing the blogging. Exiting huh? And now you guys might think; and who are you then? Well, I thought I could tell you that. First of all name is Linnea. I live in Sweden in a little place called Bålsta. Looove it here! It's so small and it feels like living in a box. No actually I don't like it here at all.. Kind of hate it.
Anyway, right now i'm on my first year in the gymnasium, freshman as it calls. Learning mostly math physics, chemistry and biology. It's really a challenge and I have to study a LOT. But I think it's worth it, cuz it's probably the best education you can have. When I'm done I can do whatever I want and that's really good since I have no idea what I'm going to do when I grow up!
On spare time I like to read, I practically worship books. One of the best things to do a rainy day (well, any day actually) is to sit inside with a big cup of rooibos tea, dozens of candles, big pillows, and a thick book. Totally love it! But enough about that, I will talk about books all week. So aside of my book interest I also love my longboard, films, my spotify account, my friends, family and bam, bam, BAM, Jesus. Yes thats true, I am a christian. I could write a mile long text why but I guess that would take whole night.  I am also kind of integrated in politics, find it very important and everyone should care about it!
As I said, I love my spotify. That's means that I really like music. I suck at playing music and sing. But that's not the thing. I love listening to music. It can you make feel so many emotions and it's just so awesome! Have a very wide taste when it comes to music. I like everything from Avenged sevenfold to Chopin an Beethoven. But here you have some of my lists!
And here I am, on my way to a syrian wedding a few weeks ago with my sweet friend Maria who is (as u see) not on the pix.
Hope you will enjoy my time here on the blog and I will do my very best. Just so you know my english is not the best so you will have to have some leniency with that!
Now I'm going to sleep or else I will fall asleep on my computer, not good.
Hugs!

Graceling (Graceling Realm #1) review

By: Kristin Cashore
In a world where people born with an extreme skill - called a Grace - are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of the skill even shedespises: the Grace of killing. She lives under the command of her uncle Randa, King of the Middluns, and is expected to execute his dirty work, punishing and torturing anyone who displeases him.

When she first meets Prince Po, who is Graced with combat skills, Katsa has no hint of how her life is about to change.

She never expects to become Po's friend.

She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace - or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away...a secret that could destroy all seven kingdoms with words alone.

i loved this book! it was a bit hard to understand in the beginning, but that faded away. i liked the fact that this book is not written in the present, so there are romance history in this book too that i really liked, and the fight scenes in love haha!

The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer #1) Review

By Jenny Han
Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer--they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one terrible and wonderful summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.

laying by the beach while reading this i Jersey, and what a summer read! althought the language was a bit too... written off...
i give this book a 3 / 5. i think u should read it :)

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

By: Jennifer E. Smith
Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.

A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?

Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

love at first sight, why not, can happen, but this "oh i have known him for 4 hours i love him" thing does not work with me. and some things that happen in the book makes me go "wait what" in a bad bad way, so i will give this book a 2/5. it was readable
