February
new month, new books to check out. I don't like this month very much because of 2 reasons. this month in Sweden people eat something called "semla"
<-- semla.
<-- semla.
and 14th february in particular. if you live under a stone you might not know that that day is Valentine's day, I don't get that day, why would you need a special day of the month to show people love and do something special?
anyway, book releases.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BOOK ALL MY LIFE AND IT'S FINALLY HERE WOHOOO!!!! I am soooooo excited to get my hands on this one as soon as possible, because I have loved every book I have read from Mead, and ESPECIALLY the bloodline series.
Sydney Is struggling with her Alchemist beliefs, and how could she still be one, when so much is hidden from her? One day she meet Marcus, a former Alchemist who escaped against all odds, and he pushes her to fight back.
and what will happen't to Sydney and Adrian after Adrian's recognition?
Trapped in a school that uses girls with extraordinary powers as tools for corporate espionage, Annie and Fia are forced to choose over and over between using their abilities in twisted, unthinkable ways… or risking each other’s lives by refusing to obey.
In a stunning departure from her New York Times bestselling Paranormalcy trilogy, Kiersten White delivers a slick, edgy, heartstoppingly intense psychological thriller about two sisters determined to protect each other—no matter the cost.
I want to read this book for one reason - the cover. LOOK AT IT, its build on pure awesomeness, all the small pictures forming into one, so beautiful :')
Kasie West
Pivot Point
Knowing the outcome doesn’t always make a choice easier . . .
Addison Coleman’s life is one big “What if?” As a Searcher, whenever Addie is faced with a choice, she can look into the future and see both outcomes. It’s the ultimate insurance plan against disaster. Or so she thought. When Addie’s parents ambush her with the news of their divorce, she has to pick who she wants to live with—her father, who is leaving the paranormal compound to live among the “Norms,” or her mother, who is staying in the life Addie has always known. Addie loves her life just as it is, so her answer should be easy. One Search six weeks into the future proves it’s not.
In one potential future, Addie is adjusting to life outside the Compound as the new girl in a Norm high school where she meets Trevor, a cute, sensitive artist who understands her. In the other path, Addie is being pursued by the hottest guy in school—but she never wanted to be a quarterback’s girlfriend. When Addie’s father is asked to consult on a murder in the Compound, she’s unwittingly drawn into a dangerous game that threatens everything she holds dear. With love and loss in both lives, it all comes down to which reality she’s willing to live through . . . and who she can’t live without.

the cover is killing me. with that said, the summary is killing me to. I have to get this boo ASAP, seems like a great Paranormal book, with family intrigues, love and friendship. Addison seems like a cool girl so I can't wait to get to know her a bit more, and this art guy Trevor, come on, all guys who does art are artistic creatures by own, It's going to be intresting to find out how Kasie worked this, and if she can make it up to the expectation the summary gives you.
Jodi Picoult
The storyteller
Sage Singer, who befriends an old man who's particularly beloved in her community. Josef Weber is everyone favorite retired teacher and Little League coach and they strike up a friendship at the bakery where Sage works. One day he asks Sage for a favor: to kill him. Shocked, Sage refuses…and then he confesses his darkest secret - he deserves to die, because he was a Nazi SS guard. Complicating the matter? Sage's grandmother is a Holocaust survivor.
What do you do when evil lives next door? Can someone who's committed a truly heinous act ever atone for it with subsequent good behavior? Should you offer forgiveness to someone if you aren't the party who was wronged? And most of all - if Sage even considers his request - is it murder, or justice?
I have heard so many great things about this author, she wrote my sister's keeper that they later adapted for the screen, i loved the movie it was so beautiful. I think this book will be a marvelous piece, i have
high expectations of this book, and i honestly think she will reach up to them, if not higher.
Yelena Black
dance of shadows
Dancing with someone is an act of trust. Elegant and intimate; you're close enough to kiss, close enough to feel your partner's heartbeat. But for Vanessa, dance is deadly – and she must be very careful who she trusts . . .
Vanessa Adler attends an elite ballet school – the same one her older sister, Margaret, attended before she disappeared. Vanessa feels she can never live up to her sister's shining reputation. But Vanessa, with her glorious red hair and fair skin, has a kind of power when she dances – she loses herself in the music, breathes different air, and the world around her turns to flames . . .
Soon she attracts the attention of three men: gorgeous Zep, mysterious Justin, and the great, enigmatic choreographer Josef Zhalkovsky. When Josef asks Vanessa to dance the lead in the Firebird, she has little idea of the danger that lies ahead – and the burning forces about to be unleashed
this seems like a really good book, if you have to judge by the summary, but if you are to care about what the other readers who have already read this book have to say about this book... well, let's just say that a few of them liked the book
is it just me or does february equals OMG covers? they make me go
I will read all of the books i named, and hope you guys do the same :)
xoxo Lihini
