Back on Track

When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.

Kidnapped by the mysterious Dark Sisters, members of a secret organization called The Pandemonium Club, Tessa soon learns that she herself is a Downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform, at will, into another person. What’s more, the Magister, the shadowy figure who runs the Club, will stop at nothing to claim Tessa's power for his own.

Friendless and hunted, Tessa takes refuge with the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, who swear to find her brother if she will use her power to help them. She soon finds herself fascinated by—and torn between—two best friends: James, whose fragile beauty hides a deadly secret, and blue-eyed Will, whose caustic wit and volatile moods keep everyone in his life at arm's length . . . everyone, that is, but Tessa. As their search draws them deep into the heart of an arcane plot that threatens to destroy the Shadowhunters, Tessa realizes that she may need to choose between saving her brother and helping her new friends save the world. . . . and that love may be the most dangerous magic of all
This is a serie connected to the mortal instruments. But you don't have to read MI to read and understand this, but i think it's better if you do. I personally read the third first books of the mortal instruments and then continued to the clockwork angel. And that was perfect.

I think this serie is much better than the mortal instruments. I like the characters more, they are more interesting. especially Will, love him! I always wondered what his secret was and when I found out everything just clicked. His stunning beauty and his cold shell hides a warm but afraid heart.     Another reason why I like these books is because it's historical. Love books written from another time. I really don't know why. It's somehow a deliverance to escape from the real time era. Sort of the same thing with fantasy books, but that's more of a escape from the real world. Although I haven't read any future-book except the hunger games.

But anyway! The infernal devices is as I said way much better than the Mortal instruments. The history and the story is much better to. I would say everything is better. And I really like the mortal instruments so that would in some way describe how much I love infernal devices. The story captured me in the first chapter and I read the two books in less than a week. It was this summer on my vacation with my parents and I was inside all day and just read. But I had my reasons. It rained all day and it was maximum 15 degrees outside..
I really recommend you all to read this book.
P.S sorry for my none-blogging for a while.
